February is my favourite month if you didn’t know. First off BLACK HISTORY MONTH…love the celebration of equality. It doesn’t drag on and is jam packed with good memories. Sometimes the Super Bowl(depending on who is playing). Always Valentine’s Day…which I watch Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind every year and have since my freshman year of high school. And this year Sundown has a Valentine’s Day show called Luv[sic] I’ll be seeing. Then the boarfriend and I’s anniversary is the 17th! We’ll be hitting three years! And we are celebrating by going to the Best Picture Showcase. We got the tickets today! Two weekends of movie-thoning the Best Picture nominees. The 18th & the 25th! And the really cool part about this is that our second date three years ago was to the Best Picture Showcase! Talk about full circle. :] ANDDDDD….we haven’t gotten the tickets yet (saving up money) but Andrew Bird is coming around the same time he came three years ago when we went together March of 2009! It’s just the two perfect ways to celebrate our three years together, doing two things we did our first year of dating! TCM plays 31 days of Oscar movies! And lastly…THE ACADEMY AWARDS!!!!!! MY FAVOURITE TIME OF THE YEAR!!!!! Having my Oscar Party again and I couldn’t be MORE PUMPED! I just can’t be sad in February.
